The purpose of this website is to provide students with a basic understanding of marching percussion, for beginner through intermediate levels of playing. It was created by me, Matt Fonda, with the purpose of helping new students of marching percussion advance quickly with proper technique to build upon.
Please know that the techniques shown on my website are meant to provide a basic foundation for playing percussion. These techniques are not the only way to play percussion, although I believe they are the best way.
